MUNICIPAL PROJECT
Flood Alleviation
This project alleviated existing flooding throughout a recently annexed, fully developed 250-acre single-family subdivision for the City of Fort Worth. Drainage issues included undersized storm drain culverts and inadequate ditch capacity, as well as the use of existing systems that did not meet current city standards.
The project included storm drain and grading into an environmentally sensitive area that required coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Our team coordinated effectively with neighborhood groups, concerned citizens and the local school board to help ensure a successful project.
