Marketing and Proposal Coordinator

Shield Engineering Group is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Team in developing, producing, coordinating and implementing various internal and external related marketing deliverables and services. This position requires a personable candidate with an ability to assist the overall Business Operations Team in a compelling and innovative way. The individual must have strong organizational skills and have professional writing competencies.

Duties

Read and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements.
Create successful SOQs including project sheets and resumes.
Preparation of marketing material and staff resumes through interviews of technical personnel.
Develop and implement social media content for the company’s various platforms such as LinkedIn, FaceBook and Instagram.
Develop social media strategies based on past performance and trends.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas that align with Shield’s brand and target audience.
Attend site visits to collect project footage.
Assist in the selection of promotional items and collecting pricing from multiple suppliers.
Work with the Business Operations Team to update marketing materials as needed.
Plan, organize and execute internal company events.
Create company newsletter, as well as press releases for company’s website and email marketing.
Create content and assist in updating the company’s website.
Uphold and enforce brand standards across all marketing materials, proposals and events.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Applicant must have a Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or similarly related field.
Experience with various computer applications, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Acrobat, WordPress and Office 365.
Experience in the AEC industry or related field is preferred but not required.
Experience in marketing, communications and/or social media.
Understanding of social media outlets and trends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in teams.
Attentiveness to details, instructions and specifications.
Time management skills and ability to multi-task.
