Marketing and Proposal Assistant

Shield Engineering Group is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Team in developing, producing, coordinating and implementing various internal and external related marketing deliverables and services. This position requires a personable candidate with an ability to assist the Business Operations Team in a compelling and innovative way. The individual must have strong organizational skills and have professional writing and presentation competencies.

Duties

Assist in compiling successful RFPs/SOQs including project sheets and resumes
Assist in developing and implementing social media content for the company’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages
Create press releases for company’s website and email marketing
Assist in managing the company’s website
Work with marketing team to update marketing materials
Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Must be a senior in college or have graduated within the last two years
Experience in marketing, communications and/or social media
Proficient in various computer applications; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, WordPress and Office 365
Understanding of social media outlets
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well in teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attentiveness to details, instructions and specifications
