A Lasting Partnership
The Shield team provided on-call engineering evaluation, recommendation and design services for the Transportation Public Works Stormwater Management Department. Within the two-year contract with the City of Fort Worth, Shield provided sustainable solutions for 18 projects ranging from complete storm sewer design to channel stream bank erosion analysis. These projects alleviate residential flooding in challenging areas and require quick turnaround.
Creative Design Solutions
Our innovative and aesthetic design solutions include flumes, custom storm sewer connections to existing systems, scour protection and paving solutions. Several storm sewer designs also mitigate existing utility conflicts and minimize cost of installation and maintenance for city forces.
